Andrew is a pianist and software developer living in Houston with his wife Stephanie and their various furry creatures. He primarily plays jazz and R&B, but also works with vocal groups like the Houston Chamber Choir, Houston Masterworks Chorus, Lone Star Lyric and is the musical director for the annual ReelAbilities music festival.
Around town Andrew can be heard with Woody Witt’s quartet at Axelrad on the last Wednesday of the month and Jelando Johnson’s Crusader’s Experience on the second Sunday of each month at Emmit’s Place. When not performing, he loves working with others on their projects and has appeared on quite a few recordings over the years.
Apart from music, he stays busy as a software developer and has two Master’s degrees, one in Mathematics from the University of Houston and the other in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from The University of California at Berkeley.
